Our compost is pure mushroom compost with no additional amendments. We compost spent mushroom substrate. Decaying mushroom mycelium attracts earthworms, so this compost is very alive with worms as well as beneficial bacteria and nematodes. It can be applied to your garden any time of the year and also works to stimulate an existing compost pile.
Purchase online and pick up at the Athens Farmers Market (Bishop Park) on Saturdays between 8 & noon. Please email info@classiccitygourmetmushroom.com ahead to confirm the pickup.
