Our 1-Gallon Mushroom Grow Kit arrives fully colonized and ready to fruit. We've already done the complicated part: preparing the substrate, inoculating it with mushroom culture, and allowing the mycelium to grow throughout the bucket. You provide the right fruiting conditions, give it a little attention, and watch your mushrooms emerge.

Under good fruiting conditions, most kits begin producing pins within about 7–10 days, although timing varies depending on mushroom variety, temperature, humidity, and other growing conditions.
Most successful kits produce multiple flushes of mushrooms—often around three—with approximately 1–2 pounds of mushrooms over the productive life of the kit. Mushrooms are living organisms, so timing and yields will naturally vary.
No garden is required, and you don't need any specialized mushroom-growing equipment.
These aren't mass-produced novelty kits. We prepare and colonize each bucket using the same mushroom cultures and growing methods we use on our small gourmet mushroom farm.
Because each grow kit is a living product, we allow it to fully colonize before it leaves the farm. Please allow 5–7 business days for your order to ship. Kits that are ready sooner may ship sooner.
